I made a little playlist of some of my instrumental tracks for a film making friend to graze recently. Thought I’d pop it here just in case anyone else fancies a listen.
A little Walthstow concert to start 2017
I am going to ease myself musically into the new year with a gig in Walthamstow on Thursday 19th January at The Hornbeam, my local community centre. A place brimming with excellent people, tasty seasonal locally grown food, ale, cake and art.
The plan is to do an early set for young families and then a second one later for everyone else. I think Basia and Caitlin are free which means violin and accordion. If anyone could nudge Candy to see if she can come and sing, I’d be grateful!
5.30-6.30pm kids’ kitchen family food time
6.30-7.30pm music family friendly set
8.30-9.30pm music 2nd set for grown ups!
album launch at ‘green note’ in camden on 5th february
***STOP PRESS*** as of 3rd February, this event is now sold out.
To mark the completion of my fourth album ‘More Than Today‘, I have gathered the musicians I worked with recording the album together for a special one-off show at Green Note in Camden next month.
I have asked Effra and The Heartlands to join me for the evening, both are excellent bands who I am looking forward to sharing a stage with muchly.
The venue is quite small so please buy tickets in advance – it would make me super sad to have anyone turned away on the night.

We had a lovely show last wednesday at the RHS Harvest Festival surrounded by some of the largest and most impressive fruit and veg I have ever seen.
To the left of me above is Caitlin my new accordion player, on the right is Basia and then Helen Babbs with a copy of her delighful book ‘My Garden, The City and Me‘ which I have read and love. Find out more about it here – http://helenbabbs.wordpress.com/book/
